Eads, who was also expecting her fifth grandchild, was described by family and friends as a loving, dedicated individual. A teacher at a local private school, Eads was known for her deep involvement in her church and her commitment to her family.

Her friend, Latasha Toney, spoke emotionally about Eads and said she was like a “guardian angel” in her life, always offering positivity and support.

“I just want to say what happened. She’s a wonderful lady. She had a big heart. She was a people’s person. She’s very caring. It’s just crazy, and it shouldn’t have happened like that,” Toney said. “The devil is always busy.”

Friends and loved ones of Eads said she will be remembered for her caring nature, her commitment to others and the positive impact she made in the lives of so many.

Bryant is facing a first-degree murder charge.
