Florida troopers search for motorcyclist caught on video shooting at driver on I-4

Incident happened in Tampa area

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are trying to identify a motorcyclist who allegedly pulled out a gun and fired several shots at a car on I-4 around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

A motorist driving a white Honda CR-V westbound near Tampa began recording video of a group of motorcycles that were reportedly riding erratically, according to FHP.

That’s when authorities said one of the bikers pulled alongside the Honda and fired several rounds at the car. 

The motorist who recorded the video was not hurt.

FHP described the suspected shooter as a white man with a medium build who was wearing a jacket with an Outlaws Motorcycle Club logo.

Troopers do not know where the motorcycles got on to I-4. They were last seen approaching I-275 near Downtown Tampa.
