NEW YORK – A group of armed robbers stormed into a Gucci store in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District earlier this week, making off with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.
The heist unfolded in the middle of the day Monday along West 14th Street, according to the New York City Police Department.
Surveillance video shows the perpetrators, consisting of two masked men and a woman, burst into the store around noon, waving guns and ordering everyone inside to the ground.

The footage shows the armed robbers ransacking shelves before the trio reportedly escaped in an SUV that the woman drove to the store, police said.
No injuries were reported during the incident. Investigators estimate that the robbers managed to get away with over $50,000 worth of high-end items.
The stolen goods included luxury bags, luggage, sunglasses and various other items from the upscale Gucci establishment, the video shows.
