Hottest May ever!! š„µ
ORLANDO, Fla. ā Itās been a hot May (no doubt about that), and meteorological summer starts on June 1, along with hurricane season.
Hey everyone, itās meteorologist Michelle Morgan. Central Florida has been experiencing some intense heat lately.
While weāre used to the heat and humidity, this May has been hotter than usual. In fact, Orlando has had 20 days of above-normal temperatures so far, and the month isnāt over yet.

āCOOLā ing into the weekend
Happy start to SUMMER Pinpoint Insiders, itās meteorologist Candace Campos here. It has certainly been feeling like summer for most of May, with temperatures above average 27 days this month! But for those hoping we can cool back to ānormalā soon, Iāve got good news for you!

Aurora 2.0?
So remember when Florida got a glimpse of the Northern Lights? Whatās going on guys, meteorologist Jonathan Kegges with you. The same sunspot region is once again facing Earth after the sun completed its rotation. While not as strong, CMEs or Coronal Mass Ejections are still possible. These cause the geomagnetic storms that create the Northern Lights.
