Hi everyone, this is meteorologist Michelle Morgan. We’re now at the peak of hurricane season, and as you might expect, things are heating up in the tropics.
Hurricane Francine is currently impacting southeast Louisiana, and Tropical Depression 7 will become Gordon out in the open Atlantic.
On top of that, our Pinpoint Weather team is keeping an eye on three tropical waves.

When it rains it pours, right? Meteorologist Jonathan Kegges with you. We are used to rain almost every afternoon this time of the year, but lately it has been relentless. Because of the repeated rounds of rain we have also seen a good deal of flooding.
