The Epic Universe hype is at an all-new high.
Hi, friends. It’s Haley dropping in after a little hiatus.

Just days after Universal Orlando Resort announced the opening date for its highly-anticipated fourth theme park, we found out what ticket offerings will be like.
For this newsletter, I wrapped up some important dates and numbers regarding the opening phase of the park.
Opening dates
Epic Universe: May 22, 2025, which is also the same date the Universal Helios Grand Hotel will start welcoming guests.
Universal Stella Nova Resort: Jan. 21, 2025
Universal Terra Luna Resort: March 25, 2025 (Delayed from Feb. 25, 2025)
Packaging and prices
Universal Orlando hinted months ago that it would only be offering multi-day packages for guests wanting to visit Epic Universe due to its anticipated popularity. Those packages include access to other parks depending on what you choose.
Whether you want a three-day, four-day, or five-day package, all options include “Enjoy 1 separate day at Universal Epic Universe” in the description.
As for pricing, dates with higher demand will cost more.
- A three-day package to all four parks starts at $150.67 for adults.
- A four-day package to all four parks starts at $121.50 for adults.
- A five-day package to all four parks starts at $104.40 for adults.
Annual passholders had the chance to claim a 1-Day ticket for the grand opening of Epic Universe, but unsurprisingly they are sold out.
In an email to passholders, Universal said to “look for information regarding Passholder soft opening opportunities at Epic Universe in the coming months.”
That likely means there will be a specific time window and passholders may not have access to every attraction.
Walt Disney World
Pay more to be an annual passholder 💲
We already knew that 2025 would ring in higher theme park prices at Disney World, and this week, we found out that annual passes are going up across the board.
Prices also went up this time last year, so there might be a trend to look out for.
Pricier skip-the-line service 💸
Yet again, Disney is offering a service to guests that allows them to skip the line at their favorite attractions.
This one, is the most expensive Lightning Lane Pass yet.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass rolls out on Oct. 30. While it’s exclusive to guests staying at deluxe Disney World hotels, it will be available to others later on. I’m going to say probably after the holiday season.
The pass is available in very limited quantities. What’s appealing to parkgoers is that it guarantees a one-time entry to attractions and you don’t have to go through the hassle of making a ride reservation.

Gatorland
Hey there, pumpkin 🎃
There’s something about watching pumpkins getting smashed that just puts you in a good mood.
It’s also a lot cooler if an alligator does this smashing.
This Sunday only, on the final day of Gators, Ghosts and Goblins, Gatorland will host The Great Pumpkin Toss.
There are three tosses scheduled throughout the day. For more information, click here.
It’s the final weekend in October.
