There was one clear new year’s message on the minds of excited theme park followers. The first social media post needed to be about Universal Epic Universe.
2025 does have a nice epic ring to it.

Anytime I write up an Epic Universe-related article, I include an Epic Universe-related poll. Usually it’s “Which Epic Universe world are you most looking forward to?”

Food, floats and fun 📿
Winter in Central Florida means festival season, and we’re a little under a month away from the start of Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval.
The fan-favorite event is a vibrant celebration of all things Carnaval — food, beads, a parade and all that jazz.
I’ll most likely be dropping the concert line-up at some point over these next few weeks. Stay tuned.

Disney summer deals 🍽️
There are perks if you stay at Walt Disney World Resort any time of the year, and if you thought about visiting Disney World this year, you might want to consider the summer.
Right now, anyone who purchases a select Disney World vacation package can get a free dining plan. Depending on the size of your party and if you’re looking to stay on property, this deal might be a good fit.
For Disney Annual Passholders, there’s a decent discount if you book a Disney resort hotel during select times this summer.
Relax and recharge at Disney Springs 🔋
Walt Disney World has always been an advocate for good health and January tends to be a time when health gets put in the spotlight.
January kicks off Disney Springs Wellness Month presented by AdventHealth, where you can take part in activities, dining and shop products that promote wellness of the body and mind.
Many of the events require registration, and to no surprise registrations for some of fitness activities were all booked up the last I checked.

By the way, one of the biggest Disney fitness events of year happens in January. Next Wednesday marks the start of Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex
A new KSC attraction 🚀
For anyone visiting the Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex for the first time, the bus tour is a must, as you get see where launch vehicles are made as well as the launch pads.
Speaking of launch pads, there’s a new attraction opening this year inspired by Launch Complex 39.
Set to open early 2025, The Gantry at LC-39 will be home to innovative and interactive experiences.
This new attraction will only be accessible by the bus tour.
