Election Day is on Nov. 5, and early voting will kick off across Central Florida later this month. However, mail-in ballots are already being returned across Central Florida.

Ahead of Election Day, News 6 will keep an eye on how many ballots are coming in, so be sure to check back regularly for the latest figures.

All of this data comes from the Florida Division of Elections website, which publicly shares statistics on voter turnout before Election Day.

As of Tuesday, here are the numbers for Central Florida’s mail-in ballots:


BREVARD COUNTY

In Brevard County, the total number of active registered voters is 442,784.

So far, there have been 19,820 submitted mail-in ballots, with a voter turnout of 4.48%.


FLAGLER COUNTY

In Flagler County, the total number of active registered voters is 96,668.

So far, there have been 7,552 submitted mail-in ballots, with a voter turnout of 7.81%.


LAKE COUNTY

In Lake County, the total number of active registered voters is 254,337.

So far, there have been 13,400 submitted mail-in ballots, with a voter turnout of 5.27%.


MARION COUNTY

In Marion County, the total number of active registered voters is 265,182.

So far, there have been 15,836 submitted mail-in ballots, with a voter turnout of 5.97%.


ORANGE COUNTY

In Orange County, the total number of active registered voters is 833,949.

So far, there have been 26,509 submitted mail-in ballots, with a voter turnout of 3.18%.


OSCEOLA COUNTY

In Osceola County, the total number of active registered voters is 233,577.

So far, there have been 6,387 submitted mail-in ballots, with a voter turnout of 2.73%.


POLK COUNTY

In Polk County, the total number of active registered voters is 454,199.

So far, there have been 21,833 submitted mail-in ballots and early voting, with a voter turnout of 4.81%.


SEMINOLE COUNTY

In Seminole County, the total number of active registered voters is 349,443.

So far, there have been 8,558 submitted mail-in ballots, with a voter turnout of 2.45%.

SUMTER COUNTY

In Sumter County, the total number of active registered voters is 125,190.

So far, there have been 9,752 submitted mail-in ballots, with a voter turnout of 7.79%.


VOLUSIA COUNTY

In Volusia County, the total number of active registered voters is 379,813.

So far, there have been 20,300 submitted mail-in ballots, with a voter turnout of 5.34%.
