Can I wear gear supporting Donald Trump, Kamala Harris when voting in Florida?

The General Election is on Nov. 5 — a date that is drawing steadily closer.

This year, presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are battling it out to determine who will take possession of the Oval Office in 2025.

But as Election Day approaches, some voters may wonder whether they’re allowed to don apparel showing support for either candidate when they head to the polls.

In short: the answer is “Yes.”

According to election officials, voters may wear campaign buttons, shirts, hats, or any other campaign items when they enter a polling location, though they are not allowed to outright campaign there.

This means that while wearing campaign paraphernalia is OK, people are restricted from soliciting votes within 150 feet from the entrance of a polling place.
