JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars will name Doug Pederson as the team’s next head coach, according to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter.
Pederson is most known for coaching the Philadelphia Eagles to a 41-33 Super Bowl win against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Pederson was 42-37-1 in five seasons with the Eagles, Philly made the playoffs three times with him as the head coach.

The Jaguars have the first overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, Jacksonville finished the 2021 season 3-14.
Pederson will also get a chance to coach against his former team next season, the Jaguars are scheduled to play in Philadelphia against the Eagles next season.
