Here’s the full list of everyone the Magic have inducted, by season.

2014: Pat Williams

Half of the first-ever induction class, it only made sense to recognize the man responsible for bringing professional basketball to Central Florida. He served as the team’s first manager, and was promoted to senior vice president the following year. Williams kept a role with the team until he retired in 2019.

Nick Anderson

The other half of the first induction class, Anderson was the Magic’s first-ever draft pick in 1989, and currently serves as the team’s community ambassador. He played for the Magic for 10 years, and to this day has the most games played in a Magic uniform (692), and steals (1,004).

2015: Shaquille O’Neal

One of the greatest centers in NBA history, Shaq spent the first 3 seasons of his career in Orlando. He was named an All-Star in every season, was All-NBA Second Team once (1995), All-NBA Third Team Twice (1994, 1996), Rookie of The Year (1993), All-NBA Rookie Team (1993), and led the NBA in scoring in 1995. He was also named USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year and was the FIBA World Championship MVP in 1994. He’s also the only player to have his number retired by the team (#32).

2016: Rich DeVos

DeVos bought the Orlando Magic in 1991 for $85 million. He co-founded Amway in 1959, which the Magic’s home arena was named after from 2009 to 2023.

2017: Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway

A year after the slam-dunk pick of Shaquille O’Neil, the Magic followed it up the next year, drafting Hardaway third overall in 1993. Through 6 seasons in Orlando, Penny was a 4 time All-Star (1995-98), All-NBA First Team Twice (1995-96), All-NBA Third Team once in 1997, and NBA All-Rookie First Team in 1994.

Jimmy Hewitt

Along with Pat Williams, Hewitt helped to bring the Magic to Orlando. He approached Williams in 1985 with the idea of bringing an NBA team to Orlando, and coaxed him away from the Philadelphia 76ers to help found the team.

2018: Tracy McGrady

The Polk County native was a fan-favorite when he signed with the Magic as a free agent in 2000. He spent 4 seasons in Orlando, named an All-Star every year (2001-2004), All-NBA First Team twice (2002-03), All-NBA Second Team twice (2001, 2004), led the league in scoring in 2003 & 2004, and was named NBA Most Improved Player in 2001.

2019: David Steele

The voice of the Magic, Steele has called play-by-play for Orlando since 1998, first on the radio for nine seasons, before moving to the TV broadcast.

2020: Darrell Armstrong

Armstrong first signed with the Magic as a free agent at the end of the 1994-95 season, and spent 9 seasons with the team. He was named Most Improved Player and Sixth Man of the Year in 1999.

2022: John Gabriel

Currently the executive advisor for the Orlando Magic, Gabriel joined the team in 1987 as director of player personnel, director of scouting, and assistant coach. He was named NBA and Sports Illustrated Executive of the Year in 2000.

Brian Hill

Hill was an assistant coach for the Magic from 1990-93, before being promoted to head coach, a position he held until 1997. Hill helped lead the magic to their first NBA Finals in 1995, and is the most successful coach in team history with a 191-104 record. He coached in the NBA All-Star game in 1995.

2023: Dennis Scott

Scott played 7 seasons with the Magic, from 1990-97. He was named NBA All-Rookie First Team in 1991, and leads the team in 3-point field goals made (981)

2025: Dwight Howard

Arguably the face of the Magic in the 21st century, spent the first 8 seasons of his career in Orlando. He was a 6 time All-Star (2007-12), named to 5 All-NBA First Teams (2008-2012), All-NBA Third Team once (2007), 3 time NBA Defensive Player of the Year (2009-2011), named to 4 All-Defensive First Teams (2009-2012), NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2008), All-Rookie First Team (2005), led the NBA in rebounds 3 times (2008-2010, 2012), led the NBA in blocks (2009-2010).
