Summer Mahmoud follows the team closely and said she plans on getting playoff tickets.
“I’m very, very excited. We love living here, so it’s nice to see it happen,” Mahmoud said. “I think that they’ve been preparing every single day, practicing, so it’s very exciting. They deserve this, so we’re excited to be here too.”
It will be the Magic’s first playoff appearance since 2020 but that matchup wasn’t played in front of a crowd because of the pandemic.
The last time fans were able to watch the Magic in person for the playoffs was in 2019.
Jacob Hilliard said he hopes the team makes a good run at the NBA title.
“When they go past the first round, I guarantee Orlando will be a little more excited,” Hilliard said. “I just hope they make a good run. I hope they make a statement for themselves.”
Playoff tickets for games at the Kia Center will be available at the box office located on Church Street or online at OrlandoMagic.com.
