EPCOT International Festival of the Arts taking center stage. Here is your complete guide

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts returns Jan. 12 – Feb. 19, 2024 (Landon McReynolds, WKMG)

BAY LAKE, Fla. – Walt Disney World has welcomed guests back to the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.

Now through Feb. 19, guests can explore a tapestry of wonder as they see brightly colored artwork, hear live music, shop merchandise, and experience culinary creations from more than 15 unique Food Studios around the theme park.

During the 38-day festival, guests can experience all the park has to offer including attractions like Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and the new nighttime spectacular, Luminous: The Symphony of Us.

Culinary creations

Rock the Dots White Chocolate and Orange Mousse with vanilla bean chiffon cake (Disney)

One of the highlights of the festival is some of the delightful dishes that Disney’s culinary and pastry teams are whipping up for guests to experience from the 16 unique food kiosks around EPCOT.

Guests will returning food favorites such as the red wine-braised beef short rib and the deconstructed key lime pie. New dishes this year include the Neapolitan desert trio and a grilled pork belly.

The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, a popular food stroll, is also set to return. Festival-goers have the opportunity to collect stamps by purchasing five of seven spotlighted dishes. Once five dishes are purchased, guests can return their festival passport to Deco Delights Food Studio to receive a free Artist Palette Cookie.

Over at the Odyssey, guests can dive into their imaginations and grab a special limited-time Figment popcorn bucket. The popcorn bucket is limited to two per person, while supplies last. Disney said the popcorn bucket can be purchased through a mobile order in the My Disney Experience app at 9 a.m. on Jan. 12, 11 a.m. all other days.

One of the best ways to purchase food and drinks across the festival is by using a Disney gift card.

Disney said the food studios are open daily from 11 a.m. to park close, unless otherwise noted.

DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series

Some familiar Broadway faces are returning for this year’s festival. During select times, guests will hear Broadway singers perform songs from more than 25 years of award-winning stage productions at the America Gardens Theatre. Performances start at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. each night.

Disney on BROADWAY Concert Series dining packages are on sale, which gives a guest a lunch or dinner option and guaranteed seating for a performance.

World Showcase Plaza live music and events

During select times of the day, guests can hear live music from a handful of performers including Nicholas Marks, Don Black, Dominic Gaudious and Victor Espinola.

The festival will also feature performances from visual artists that will put on displays of strength, grace, acrobatics and agility. Disney said guests should check the My Disney Experience app for showtimes.

Artistic family fun

During the festival, guests will also get the chance to express their creative side through many activities.

Guests can learn to draw alongside featured artists at the Disney character at Animation Academy, which will take place during special times at the American Gardens Theater at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Over at the Expression Section booth, guests can leave their own creative mark by participating in A Paint by Number Mural. This activity is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

In Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt, families can purchase a map and search for Figment hiding inside art inspired by famous works throughout World Showcase. Once a guest finds them all, they can bring a completed map to the Creations Shop or World Traveler at International Gateway for a special surprise. The scavenger hunt costs $9.99, plus tax.

Families can also shop the latest festival merchandise, participate in artful photo ops around the park and the take part in the kids chalk art activity at the bridge to World Showcase Plaza from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
