ORLANDO, Fla. – Have you ever wanted to look like Frankenstein, the Wolfman, or just a creepy clown? Universal Orlando has a new limited-time experience that you might be interested in.

Leaders last week opened the all-new experience “Monster Makeover: Become the Monster!” at the Universal Studios Florida theme park.

The new experience, located in the park’s Five & Dime merchandise store, allows guests to get their faces painted by one of Universal’s makeup artists. The park said these are the same artists that help bring characters to life during popular events including Mardi Gras and the award winning Halloween Horror Nights.

After choosing from more than 25 different face designs, guests walk a red carpet into a small room where the makeup artists carefully airbrushes the monster face of their choosing.

The park said transformations are $125, plus tax for a full face or $65, plus tax for a half-face design. Universal said a full transformation takes an estimated 45 minutes to complete, while a half-face transformation takes 30 minutes. Guests must be 6 years of age and all persons under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The experience does require a valid theme park ticket and reservation which can be made online, in the park at Five & Dime or through merchandise services by calling 1-888-762-0820.
