The indoor/outdoor ride begins with guests entering a sea and research station. Guests will then enter the loading bay, board snowmobile-style vehicles and journey through an Antarctic landscape. The track features two exhilarating launches and a maze of twists and turns. The ride will reach speeds up to 43 mph across a 3,020-foot track. The height requirement is just 42 inches.
Penguin Trek takes over the space formerly occupied by Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin at the newly opened Antarctica Realm. The immersive area includes thrills, dining, and wildlife encounters. Following ride completion, passengers will dock at the fan-favorite penguin habitat. Non-thrill seekers will also have the option to skip the ride and have access to the penguin exhibit.
SeaWorld Orlando Pass Members will be among the first to experience Penguin Trek with special ride times starting July 2. Through Sunday, guests can take advantage of the Best Sale of the Year – the 4th of July Sale, offering up to 55% off tickets, Fun Cards, and annual passes.
