ORLANDO, Fla. – It was supposed to be the year Blue Man Group made their return to Orlando, but it’s unclear when the iconic performance-art troupe will be moving into Icon Park.
In September, Orange County leaders broke ground on a 500-seat theater beneath the Orlando Eye, a theater custom-designed for Blue Man Group’s multi-sensory performances, which will include state-of-the-art audio, lighting, and video technology.

Sky 6 flew over the construction site in early April, that showed a dirt plot.
News 6 received the following statement regarding the delay:
“Blue Man Group, the international entertainment phenomenon known for its world-famous music and distinctively non-verbal forms of communication, is set to make history with the grand opening of its Orlando residency in 2025 – the group’s newest remount. Originally set to open this Spring, the Blue Man Group Theater has experienced several unexpected construction delays that have ultimately pushed the grand opening date to later this year."
