LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The incredible Avatar universe being created at the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando grows even more beautiful by the day.
Disney released more stunning images of the new Pandora - The World of Avatar land at Disney's Animal Kingdom, which is scheduled to open May 27.
Featuring the stunning landscapes and bright visuals from the movie, the new land is one of the biggest additions in the history of the park.
Years in the making, the land will feature two new rides.
Avatar Flight of Passage is a four minute ride that will allow guests to soar on the back of a mountain banshee above the moon featured in the movies.
While the Na'vi River Journey is being hyped as a family-friendly ride down a mysterious river through the rainforest.
Guests at the park will walk among floating mountains and lush vegetation that replicates the landscape of Pandora. Visitors will also be able to eat and, of course, shop (it is Disney after all) for Avatar merchandise.
