Storm chances stay elevated Monday afternoon and evening. Tropical update:Hanna made landfall Saturday in Texas as a strong category one hurricane and continues to weaken over Mexico. Computer forecasts bring the tropical disturbance close to Puerto Rico late in the week. Early indications are that a tropical disturbance will curve out to sea over the weekend.

By dinner, most of Central Florida will be dry with the exception for a stray lingering storm. High temperatures over the weekend will remain in the low-to-mid 90s with feels like temperatures of around 100 degrees. Interests in Puerto Rico and eastern Caribbean should pay close attention to forecasts over the next five to seven days. A few storms will be around, but they will be short-lived with most of the day on the dry side.
