The Salvation Army is preparing to take in additional people seeking shelter from an upcoming cold front in Orlando this weekend.

Brevard County is opening a cold weather shelter Tuesday night in Titusville ahead of overnight lows expected to dip into the mid-40s.

Lake County is gearing up for Central Florida’s cold front by activating its cold weather shelters Monday and Tuesday, officials announced Monday.
