The Sports Business Journal unveiled its list of best U.S. sports cities, and Orlando ranks No. 1. The announcement was made Monday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort, one of more than 35 sports venues in the greater Orlando area.

The Orlando VA Healthcare System announced a partnership with Disney to host an enrollment and health fair later this month.

The Department of Defense Warrior Games, hosted by U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, will return to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World.

Major League Baseball is coming back to Walt Disney World Resort in 2023.

ORLANDO, Fla. Members of the Orlando Magic made their way Tuesday to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World ahead of the NBA's planned restart season. During a recent Orange County Task Force meeting, Orlando Magic CEO Alex Martins laid out his playbook for how it would all work. If the plan works, all teams will be at Disney for at least 5-1/2 weeks and some teams will be there for more than three months. A recent news release from the NBA shows around 25 of its 351 players have tested positive since testing began on June 23. Scrimmage games are set to begin on July 22 with the regular season resuming on July 30.

The complex will serve as a temporary home to the team while the Citrus Bowl undergoes renovations and they await their entry into Major League Soccer, which they expect to happen in 2015. The change of venue comes as the soccer club waits for Major League Soccer to announce Orlando has cinched the newest franchise, which could come in the next few weeks. When that happens, work is expected to begin on a new soccer-specific stadium in the city's Parramore area. The ESPN complex can hold up to 5,200 spectators while the Citrus Bowl undergoes $200 million in renovations.
