Guests flee First Order Stormtroopers onboard a Star Destroyer as part of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the groundbreaking new attraction opening Dec. 5, 2019, inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida and Jan. 17, 2020, at Disneyland Park in California. The immersive attraction opened in 2019 and has only been operating under the virtual queue system. Virtual queue boarding passes can be acquired through the My Disney Experience App.

Deputy Kirk Smurawa, 40, who's been with the Orange County Sheriff's Office since 2002 and is a former Marine, was arrested Tuesday and charged with armed burglary of a conveyance and petit theft of $100 or more. "We got information and that caused him to come into suspicion," said Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings. According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Smurawa, who was on duty, took a purse from a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country rental vehicle that was parked at Hollywood Studios. Smurawa was assigned to the Orange County Sheriff Sector Six patrol.
