JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two men and a woman were killed in a shooting at an apartment complex in Jacksonville, sheriff’s officials said. A Jacksonville Sheriff's Office gang unit was nearby on an unrelated deployment and heard gunfire about 10 p.m. Monday, officials said. Officers saw a vehicle leaving the Calloway Cove Apartments and attempted to make a traffic stop, sheriff's officials said. The vehicle sped away but was stopped a few miles away when a patrol car hit it. Meanwhile officers found the apartment where the gunfire erupted from and discovered the bodies, officials said.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman was killed and a man was hospitalized following a shooting at an Amazon Fulfillment Center in Jacksonville, Florida, according to authorities. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the center Tuesday night, where deputies found the woman dead at the scene, Lt. J.D. The sheriff's office did not identify the people who were shot or name a shooter. In June, there was a targeted shooting outside this Amazon facility that left one person killed and two others slightly wounded. Authorities said the shooting on the city’s north side does not appear to have been a case of workplace violence.
