The moon, Earth and sun are putting on a show tonight with the first total lunar eclipse visible from Florida in more than three years.

This year, Central Florida will be treated to not only two total lunar eclipses, but long-lasting eclipses at that.

While Friday’s lunar eclipse will technically be partial, it will look a lot like a total lunar eclipse. Only a sliver of the moon will escape Earth’s shadow.
