The most severely wounded survivor of the 2018 massacre at Parkland’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School now owns shooter Nikolas Cruz’s name.

A former South Florida sheriff who was removed from office by the governor because of his agency’s response to the Parkland school shooting that left 17 people dead has found a new job reviewing the footage of red light cameras.

DeSantis' decision was upheld by the Republican-led state Senate, even though its investigator found DeSantis' grounds didn’t meet Florida law. But Tony, 41, quickly made enemies with the primary deputies' union, which said he fired and disciplined deputies accused of misconduct without due process and wouldn't communicate.
