When he approached the woman, she got into her Jeep, ignored him and drove away, breaching two security checkpoints near President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club and prompting authorities to open fire, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said Friday, according to WPLG. The woman, identified as Hannah Roemhild, 30, continued driving onto Southern Boulevard and crossed the bridge into West Palm Beach, where she and another woman were taken into custody, Bradshaw said. We didn’t know if somebody was there to try to hit as many pedestrians as possible.”After authorities opened fire, the Jeep continued onto Southern Boulevard and crossed a bridge connecting Palm Beach to West Palm Beach. The rental Jeep was later found near Palm Beach International Airport at a Studio 6 motel, where she and another woman were taken into custody, Bradshaw said.

The patient is doing well and remains hospitalized “primarily for infection control,” said Dr. Allison Arwady, Chicago's public health commissioner. Earlier this week, a man in his 30s in Washington state became the first U.S. patient, also diagnosed after returning from a trip to the outbreak's epicenter in central China. The Washington state patient was in satisfactory condition Friday in an isolation unit at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, 30 miles north of Seattle. China has issued massive travel bans in hard-hit sections of that country to try to stem spread of the virus.

Since the virus was identified in Wuhan, China last month, more than 600 people across five countries have been infected and six people have died. Given the outbreak, public health entry screenings have been added at airports in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles. According to the Associated Press, coronavirus symptoms include runny nose, headache, cough and fever and in more extreme cases, shortness of breath, chills and body aches.

Federal court documents showed Krystal sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Atlanta on Sunday. The company said it owed between $50 million and $100 million to food suppliers, equipment companies and others. Krystal has about 300 restaurants in 10 states, 182 of which employ 4,890 people and are operated by the company, restructuring officer Jonathan M. Tibus said in a court filing. Krystal said in a court document that it has restaurants in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
