One day after being indicted by a New York grand jury, supporters of Former President Donald Trump gathered outside his Mar-a-Lago home in South Florida.

Should New York ask Florida for help in bringing former President Trump in after his indictment, the state of Florida will not assist with that extradition request, Gov. Ron DeSantis said Thursday after the news that a grand jury voted to indict the former president.

Donald Trump became the first former U.S. President to ever be indicted for a crime on Thursday.
