ORLANDO, Fla. – The owners of Black Rooster Taqueria have plenty of reason to celebrate. The restaurant owners, John and Juliana Calloway, are getting ready to mark five years in business in the heart of Orlando’s trendy Mills 50 district. At the same time, the couple is working on opening up a second location in another up-and-coming part of the city, the Hourglass District. AdThe couple says the new location is likely to open sometime over the summer, but they also say their expansion plans do not end there. They also explain the origin of the black rooster they named their business after.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is continuing with unseasonably warm and humid weather for the start of 2021, with wake-up temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s. Here are the current records:Daytona Beach: 83 degrees set in 2019Leesburg: 84 degrees set in 2016Sanford: 85 degrees set in 1991Orlando: 87 degrees set in 1924Melbourne: 84 degrees set in 2016Sick of the heat? The big push of cold air will finally move into the area by Sunday night and into Monday morning. Temperatures on Sunday will run near normal, in the mid-70s, with another drop in temperatures by the start of next week.
