Sumter County Animal Services is hosting an Easter-themed adoption eggstravaganza that gives a variety of cats and dogs the chance to find their “furever” homes.

With National Puppy Day coming up on Thursday, there are many pups out there looking for their forever home.

Lake County will activate two cold weather shelters as temperatures are expected to drop this weekend.

The Lake County Board of Commissioners announced they will open cold weather shelters starting Friday, Jan. 28 through Sunday, Jan. 30 as temperatures are expected to drop.
