APOPKA, Fla. – A 27-year-old Orlando man was killed in a motorcycle crash early Wednesday in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The fatal wreck happened around 12:30 a.m. on Hiawassee Road at Sandy Lane Drive near Wekiva High School.

The FHP said the man was riding south on Hiawassee Road when he struck a guardrail for an unknown reason and was ejected from his bike.
The man, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to AdventHealth Apopka, where he later died, according to an FHP crash report.
