Trooper Steve on Patrol: It may seem simple, but here’s how you should merge

Trooper Steve takes viewers along

ORLANDO, Fla. – Getting onto and off a roadway is something we do every single day.

Part of that process is called merging. Sometimes we do it without even noticing, other times it can be a stressful situation either because of you or because of other drivers.

I’m sure you can recall the time you were attempting to merge and someone maybe didn’t let you in, or you were out on the roadway and someone was merging in front of you and didn’t do it properly.

On this ride, hopefully we’ll see the good and not so much ugly while we’re out there. But I’ll explain everything from a simple merge to a multi-lane merge while we are out on the road.
