ORLANDO, Fla. – There was a time when it was close to impossible to find a police agency that was actively recruiting. I don’t mean this as a negative , but an applicant would have to had been very proactive in order to find an open police officer position.
Recently, though, those times have definitely changed in Central Florida.
From large agencies to smaller police departments, we are seeing a big push in recruitment efforts.
Not only are these recruitment efforts very specific in the communities they are targeting, they come with a pretty good benefits package.
On Wednesday’s Trooper Steve On Patrol, we welcomed in the Orlando Police Department recruitment team into Results-1. The recruitment team members pride themselves on professionalism and the standards to which their officers are held at.
