ORLANDO, Fla. – A crash that left at least one vehicle mangled is under investigation Friday in Orange County.
The wreck happened in a neighborhood near Edgewater Drive and Davisson Avenue, not far from Lake Fairview.
Video from Sky 6 shows as many as four vehicles damaged in the front yard of a home. One vehicle ended up on its side and appeared to be smashed against another car.
According to troopers. a 24-year-old Orlando man was driving a Ram 1500 westbound in the outside land of State Road 424 when he failed to stay in his lane and ran off the roadway into the shoulder of the road. Investigators said he collided with a parked Toyota Camry. The impact sparked a domino effect, causing the Toyota Camry to hit a utility pole and two other vehicles parked nearby.
Investigators said the 24-year-old stayed on scene and was not taken to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation, and all lanes of Edgewater Drive remain closed at this time.
