ORLANDO, Fla. – Seven people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash on Interstate 4 in Orlando, officials said.
Troopers said the crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-4 near Sand Lake Road around 1:32 p.m.

According to a crash report, a Toyota SUV was traveling west on I-4 behind a Nissan Murano. The Murano was slowing for traffic ahead and the Toyota crashed failed to observe the slowdown and into the back of the Nissan.
The drivers of both vehicle were taken to ORMC with non-life-threatening injuries, troopers said.
Juvenile passengers were transported to Arnold Palmer with non-life-threatening injuries, although the FHP did not specify how many.
I-4 was backed up in the area after the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
