7 injured in Orlando crash between vehicle and LYNX bus

ORLANDO, Fla. – Seven people were taken to Orlando-area hospitals after a crash involving a LYNX bus and a vehicle on Saturday afternoon.

According to Orlando police, the crash happened around 3:05 p.m. in the area of West Washington Street and North Orange Blossom Trail.

Police said the driver of the vehicle was at fault in the crash, but did not release any other details.

Orlando Fire Department officials said three people were taken to AdventHealth Orlando and four others were transported to ORMC. All of those injured suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to officials.

They did not say if those injured were in the vehicle or on the LYNX bus.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.

This is the second involving a LYNX bus in the last week. On Wednesday evening, a 19-year-old Orlando man was killed in a crash with a LYNX bus in Orange County.
