MARION COUNTY, Fla. – It’s a little early to be talking back to school, but for two central Florida counties that will be a thing year-round.
Mark Lehman had Brevard County covered this morning, so I have Marion County. These two Central Florida counties will now attend school year-round in a new pilot program.
I attended Waterford Lakes Elementary School in east Orange County for second and third grade. At the time, the school was a year-round school. Now I can remember my mom thoroughly enjoying this but to me it was water under the bridge.
Consider today’s stream, something that we will see often now throughout the year. We can never be reminded enough about things we should be aware of in a school zone. Understanding that these areas could be forever. School zones will prevent tragedy in the future.
