MARION COUNTY, Fla. – An 84-year-old Ocala man was killed early Wednesday when he was struck from behind by a golf cart, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. on SW 94th Street.

According to a crash report, a 93-year-old Ocala woman was driving the golf cart was west on SW 94th Street in a multimodal path.
The golf cart struck the man, who was walking west on the same path, the FHP said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the FHP.
The woman was uninjured.
No other information has been provided.
