Warming up Monday after a cold weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – If you want the warmth back, hang on for one more day. Sunshine will quickly get rid of any frost that has developed and help to warm our temperatures back to the mid 60s.

High, thin clouds will gradually increase across Central Florida by the afternoon and evening. Mostly cloudy skies will return Sunday evening and early Monday.

Monday will start off warmer with temperatures in the 40s. With a mix of clouds and sunshine, temperatures surge back into the 70s ahead of the next system. Temperatures Tuesday remain in the mid 70s before a cold front later in the day. Highs by Wednesday and Thursday will fall back into the 60s.

There will be a high risk for rip currents Sunday

With highs only in the upper 60s Sunday, it’s not the best beach day, but if your plans take you to the ocean watch out for rip currents. There will be a high risk for rip currents again Sunday.
