ORLANDO, Fla. – Happy weekend! Saturday will be very hot across our coverage area. A heat advisory will be in effect all day through the early evening hours.
As we go through the afternoon, heat indices are expected to be between 108-111 degrees. Drink plenty of water while outside and don’t forget the sunscreen.
Rain chances will begin to go up after noon Saturday. Expect 40% coverage for rain and storms through the day and early evening hours.

Sunday, rain chances will be higher between 60-70% through the day under partly cloudy skies. Daytime highs are expected to be closer to average in the lower 90s across Central Florida.
This upcoming work will hot and humid but daytime highs daily will be closer to average warming into the lower 90s. The rain coverage daily will be moderate at 50%
Talking tropics! We’re continuing to monitor Invest 95L. That latest morning update from the NHC shows that Invest 95L has a high chance of tropical development in the next 2-7 days. It may become a tropical depression early this week. If it gets a name the next name on the list is Emily. Tropical Don continues to swirl over the open Atlantic. Not a threat to any land.
