ORLANDO, Fla. – After a 7-month hiatus, a cool stretch of weather is arriving into Central Florida, so it’s time to find the sweaters in the back of your closets and get ready for some cool and crisp mornings ahead!
Temperatures across the board will continue to run below average through Wednesday, with most of the area seeing their coolest days since mid March, when our last cold snap dropped temperatures in to the 60s. Although we won’t be that cold, the break from the crazy summer heat and humidity will be a welcomed change!
Here is the timeline and county-by-county breakdown of temperatures for the next two days.
As you plan out your week, expect the coolest day to be Monday with the coldest morning on Tuesday.

MONDAY MORNING: This will be our first taste of a cool fall crisp air, with lows in the mid to upper 50s. The only exception will be for folks in Brevard county, where temperatures will remain in the mid 60s.
MONDAY AFTERNOON: This will be the coolest day of the week, with highs in the mid to low 70s.
TUESDAY MORNING: The coldest air will be Tuesday morning. Some in our northern counties could dip into the 40s, with most in the mid to low 50s.
TUESDAY AFTERNOON: Temperatures will gradually begin to climb by Tuesday afternoon, but remaining mild and dry. Highs will be in the mid to low 70s.
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON: By Wednesday, some areas will begin flirting with the 80s by the afternoon.
Long range forecasts show another front possibly nearing by the end of the week, bringing back a slight chance of rain, and warmer days in the 80s.
