ORLANDO, Fla. – After another very cold start across Central Florida, a subtle warming trend is right around the corner.
Expect extra clouds to stream in through Wednesday, with highs climbing into the upper 60s. The breeze will also continue to a tune of 15-20 mph.
The wind shifting to the northeast will help to create dangerous beach and boating conditions once again.
It will be a cool start Thursday -- 40s and 50s -- but not as cold as the past couple of mornings. With the help of additional sunshine, highs will climb to around 70 degrees.
High temperatures in Central Florida will hover in the low 70s through the extended Christmas holiday weekend.
By Christmas Day, however, rain chances start to go up again.
A storm system is expected to develop in the Gulf of Mexico over the weekend, sending rain chances up to 40% on Christmas Day.
The weather could stay unsettled in the days following Christmas as well.
Rain chances Tuesday will also be at 40%.
Happy holidays!
