BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A cold weather shelter will open Sunday in Titusville as cold winds drop temperatures in Central Florida.
Forecast lows in Brevard County hover in the high 40s, yet bitter wind chill is expected to tank these temperatures as low as the 30s into Monday morning.

The Brevard County Emergency Management Office said on social media that community partner LifePointe Ministries would open the shelter by 6 p.m. at 4220 South Hopkins Avenue.
