ORLANDO, Fla. – Our next cold front will drop south through late Friday afternoon, raising the chance of rain.
Rain chances at 30-50% will begin to creep into the area by mid-afternoon north and west of I-4, then progress southward and clearing the region overnight.

The main impact with the front will be light to moderate rain, with wind gusts picking up between 40-45 mph through the evening.
Before the front arrives, expect windy conditions areawide. Southwesterly winds will increase to up to 20-25 mph in the afternoon, with gusts up to 30-35 mph.
Through the afternoon, temperature will warm above average into the mid- to upper 70s.
By daybreak on Saturday, much colder air will settle in, with highs on Saturday and Sunday warming to around 70.
The coldest temperatures will be on Sunday morning, with lows in the mid- to upper 40s.
High pressure will be the main weather feature for Floridians next week, keeping conditions dry and quiet. A quick warming trend will begin Monday, with temperatures climbing to spring-like values by mid-week in the mid 80s.
