ORLANDO, Fla. – Monday is looking great for Central Florida viewing of the solar eclipse, but it will be a little warmer than it has been recently.
Expect mainly sunny skies with not much cloud cover across our region as high pressure continues to keep it dry and stable without much moisture around.
By the time we approach 1:30 p.m. as the eclipse approaches its beginning stages, temperatures will be nearing 80 degrees.
Peak viewing time is 3:03 p.m. on Monday, which also coincides with peak heating.
Highs will be right around 83 degrees, while the coast will stay in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Clouds begin to build up by the end of the workday. Cloud cover is not expected to be an issue here for those who want to check out the solar eclipse.
Just remember to do so safely with proper eye protection.
