ORLANDO, Fla. – The heat and humidity are on the rise across Central Florida this week added moisture and instability seep back in.
The lovely dry air that made for a pleasant weekend will erode substantially throughout the week as a cold front will be approaching Central Florida. This shift in our weather pattern will significantly increase our chances of rain and storms towards the end of the week.

Monday - Tuesday
For your Monday and Tuesday, expect a 40-50% chance of scattered showers through the afternoon as highs climb into the mid-90s. The southwesterly flow will cause the west coast sea breeze to pin most of the storm activity from the I-4 corridor towards I-95, bringing pockets of heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds.
Late week
The cold front will continue to move further south over Central Florida and stall through the week. As a result, scattered showers are likely with coverage around 60 to 70% as pulses of moisture track along the front.
