ORLANDO, Fla. – It’ll stay dry through Sunday morning, with temperatures warming up quickly.
Afternoon highs are expected to reach the middle 90s in Orlando and the upper 80s and lower 90s along the coast. With the high humidity, heat index values are expected to be between 105-107 degrees. Stay hydrated!
Rain chances are around 30-40% this afternoon, with a few storms possible, some of which could be strong with heavy rain, gusty winds and lightning. Most rain and storms should end around sunset.

Tonight, clouds will clear and temperatures will drop to the upper 70s. The work week will start with afternoon highs in the lower-to-mid 90s and rain chances around 40-50%. By midweek, rain chances will drop to 30%.
Tropics update:
As of Sunday morning, the NHC has not highlighted any areas of concern. The pinpoint weather team continues to monitor one tropical wave over western Cuba that could move into the Gulf of Mexico early this week and a low pressure system could form.
Regardless of development, heavy rain and gusty winds could affect coastal Louisiana and Texas by midweek.
