Another warm day after foggy start across Central Florida

Weak front coming Sunday

ORLANDO, Fla. – After a foggy start across Central Florida, Saturday is expected to be another comfortable but warm day.

For most of the area, dry weather will continue as temperatures climb in to the low-to-mid 90s with a light breeze off the ocean. Lows Saturday evening will remain above average in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.

With a steady onshore breeze, a high risk of rip currents continues, especially for beaches along Brevard county.

Another reinforcing shot of Florida-fall weather arrives with a weak front on Sunday. This feature will help keep temperatures near average in the low-to-mid 80s for the first half of the week.

Behind the front, the breeze is expected to pick up, roughing up our east coast beaches and near-shore waters next week.

A few showers can’t be ruled out in the meantime, with rain chances remaining less than 20% into Halloween.

Speaking of Halloween, conditions are expected to remain close to normal for the end of October with highs around 84 degrees. By the time trick-or-treaters head out Thursday evening, temperatures should begin to dip a bit into the low 70s after sundown.

Tropical update:

Although no new areas have been highlighted for tropical development by the National Hurricane Center, long-range models continue to show signals of development in the Caribbean Sea by the start of November.

As of now, what it could become or where it will go is still very uncertain.
