ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida residents can look forward to a dry and breezy setup for Wednesday and into Halloween as rain chances continue to decrease through the rest of the week.
Strong ridge of high pressure remains across the Deep South, keeping Central Florida under a strong onshore breeze with gusts up to 30 mph.
Due to the ongoing strong winds, a high surf advisory and rip current risk remains in place for beachgoers. Along with a small advisory for boaters as seas could reach up to 6-9 feet.
For your trick-or-treating forecast on Thursday, the weather by sunset should begin to cool down into the upper 70s with a gradual dip into the mid 70s later into the evening with conditions remaining mostly dry.
A weakening front will try and make it close to the area by this weekend, regardless expect temperatures to remain consistent in the mid to low 80s through early next week.
Tropics
We are keeping a close eye on a potential tropical system forming in the southwestern Caribbean over the next week. The system’s development and trajectory will depend on key weather factors, including a ridge of high pressure or an approaching cold front over the Southeast.
It will likely be several days before the future of this area becomes clear. So in the meantime, continue to check in on the latest updates.
