ORLANDO, Fla. – After a beautiful weekend, expect temperatures to start climbing above average through the week and into Thanksgiving on Thursday.
Temperatures on Monday are on the rise, with highs in the mid-to-upper 70s and plenty of sunshine.
Monday night, the clear skies continue, and temperatures won’t drop as low as they have been, with lows in the 50s. The combination of clear skies and calm winds, patchy fog will be possible again for areas west of I-95 by daybreak on Tuesday morning.
A weakening cold front will keep moving through the Deep South, before falling apart over north Florida by mid-week. In the meantime, expect conditions to remain dry with just a few more clouds around by Thursday. Temperatures will keep climbing through the week, reaching the low 80s for Thanksgiving.
Central Floridians can expect a warm but comfortable Thanksgiving. While highs are expected to hit 82 degrees, temperatures by dinnertime will be mild in the mid to low 70s with a light breeze in place.
A low-pressure system off the Northeast U.S. will bring a weakening cold front through Florida on Friday. Winds will shift to the north behind the front, bringing cooler air by the afternoon and into the night. Another reinforcing cold front will follow over the weekend, keeping temperatures below normal in the upper 60s to low 70s.
By Monday, highs will continue to struggle to reach 70 in many places with lows getting chilly again in the 40s and 50s.
