Comfortable mornings, warm days in Florida. How’s Easter weekend shaping up?

Orlando area to see highs in upper 80s by Sunday

ORLANDO, Fla. – A ridge of high pressure will continue to breakdown as a weak front approaches Central Florida on Tuesday.

Ahead of the front, winds will pick up a bit through the early afternoon, reaching around 10 to 15 mph, with a few gusts near 20 mph.

Daytime highs on Tuesday will climb into the mid- to upper 80s for much of the area, with skies remaining mostly dry until sundown.

Highs Today

We’ll likely see a bit more cloud cover moving in overnight but overall, the system won’t have much upper-level support, so rain chances are very low. There’s a slight 10% chance for a few sprinkles, mainly near the I-4 corridor, but most areas will stay dry.

One concern that continues to hang around is the elevated fire danger. Dry air and quickly drying vegetation mean that fires can start and spread more easily. Please take precautions—avoid open flames, don’t park vehicles on dry grass and be mindful with anything that might spark, like cigarettes or outdoor equipment.

Once the front clears, temperatures will cool slightly - to the upper 70s along the coast and low 80s inland.

Highs Wednesday

Morning lows will be noticeably cooler Thursday and Friday, dipping into the 50s across most areas, with a few low 60s at the coast.

By Easter weekend and into early next week, temperatures will trend warmer again.

Easter Sunday

Expect widespread 80s Saturday through Monday, with some inland areas possibly reaching the low 90s.
