ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida officials are preparing residents for the worst, as Hurricane Irma’s path is still uncertain on how it will affect the Sunshine State.
Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs declared a local state of emergency Thursday for both incorporated and unincorporated Orange County.
Jacobs issued a mandatory countywide curfew starting Sunday at 7 p.m. until Monday at 6 p.m.
As Orange County and city officials announce sandbag locations, shelters, and evacuations that information will be updated on this story below.
During the storm, residents are encouraged to get information from the county using these Apple and Android apps: OCFL Alert, OCFL News, OCFL 311 and OC Alert.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer declared a city-wide state of emergency Friday afternoon during a press conference.
Officials said Friday that the city's Emergency Operations Center was at a level 2 partial activation and that a level 1 full activation would be put in place Sunday. Once it is, Orlando residents can call the Citizens Info Line at 407-246-4357 to report any damage, downed trees and issues with traffic lights. Citizens can also use the line to receive information about the city's response efforts, officials said.

Sandbag locations
The city of Ocoee is has distributed more than 2,000 sandbags to residents and will not be able to provide any additional sandbags before Hurricane Irma's arrival.
Officials advise residents to visit one of the Orange County sandbag distribution locations.
Orange County public works
These Orange County locations will begin sandbag distribution on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Proof of Orange County residence is required, up to 10 sandbags per vehicle.

Orlando
The city of Orlando is giving out ten sandbags per address and residents must show proof of residence. An additional location has been added at Camping World Stadium.
Camping World Stadium: Tampa Avenue
Hours: Thursday until 7 p.m.; Friday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Tampa Avenue
City of Orlando Streets and Stormwater Division: 1010 Woods Avenue
Hours: Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Officials said residents must arrive at the locations by 4:45 p.m. and anyone who arrives after 1 p.m. must bring their own bags to fill because of the high demand.
Apopka
The city of Apopka will provide sandbags starting Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Edward Field, 11 Forest Ave.
Residents can make up to 10 bags of sand, and at least 10,000 bags are available.
Maitland
THIS LOCATION IS OUT OF SANDBAGS: 105 E. Horatio Drive.
Winter Park
The city has distributed over 16,000 sandbags to its residents and will not be getting another shipment of supplies before Hurricane Irma’s arrival.
The city said anyone in need of sandbags should visit one of Orange County’s sandbag distribution locations.

Orange County residents living in mobile and modular homes are under a mandatory evacuation.
